This is a genuine Original Stamped Steel Air Cleaner Housing (Filter Canister), removed from the M116 3.5L V8 engine of a classic Mercedes-Benz W111 280 SE 3.5 Coupé. This heavy-duty, two-piece metal assembly houses the engine's air filter cartridge and directs filtered air into the intake manifold. It features the distinctive long intake snorkel and side-mounting bracket specific to the V8 chassis configuration.
